Discretion is the reason Elite Search exists. This policy explains what personal data we collect through elitesearch.in, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Who we are
Elite Search (“we”, “us”) operates elitesearch.in from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@elitesearch.in or +91 98290 17524.
2. What we collect
- Account details — name, email address, phone number, the role you choose (buyer or seller) and your password, which is stored only in hashed form.
- Verification documents — identity or ownership documents you upload so we can verify buyers and sellers.
- Property information — details, photographs and documents that owners submit for a listing, including information shown only to verified members.
- Enquiries and messages — what you send through contact forms, project enquiry forms, property enquiries and favourites, and your consent to be contacted.
- Payments — plan, amount and transaction references for membership or listing plans. Payments are processed by PhonePe; we do not receive or store your card or bank details.
- Technical data — a session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects forms, and Google Analytics data about how pages are used (pages visited, device, approximate location, referring site).
3. How we use it
- To create and manage your account and membership, and to control which listings you can see.
- To review listings and verify buyers and sellers before introductions.
- To respond to enquiries, arrange viewings and site visits, and send service messages by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To process payments and keep records we are required to keep.
- To keep the site secure, prevent misuse and understand which pages are useful.
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you register or submit a form, and for legitimate uses permitted by law. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that has already taken place.
4. Who we share it with
- Other members, as you choose — a seller’s listing details are shown to verified members whose plan covers that city. Your contact details are shared with the other party only when an introduction is made.
- Developers — if you enquire about a builder project, we may share your enquiry with that project’s developer to arrange cost sheets or site visits.
- Service providers — hosting (Vercel), database and file storage (Supabase), email delivery, payments (PhonePe) and analytics (Google Analytics). They process data only to provide their service to us.
- Authorities — where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account and listing data while your account is active, and enquiry records for as long as needed to handle them. Payment records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used, ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it, withdraw your consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. Write to hello@elitesearch.in; we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed, private listing details are shown only to eligible members, uploaded files are kept in private storage, and forms are protected against automated misuse. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Children
Elite Search is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
