Who is the House of Abhinandan Lodha?
HoABL describes itself as India’s largest branded land developer and says it was established in 2020. Wikipedia lists Abhinandan Lodha as founder and chairman and Mumbai as its headquarters. The company concentrates on residential plotted land, sold largely through a digital buying process, rather than apartment towers.
Its public material presents land as a brand product: planned layouts, clubhouses, hospitality tie-ups and celebrity campaigns. Wikipedia reports a joint venture with HDFC Capital Advisors in 2023 and a partnership with The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts for Ayodhya.

Is HoABL part of Lodha Group?
No. HoABL’s own website states that “House of Abhinandan Lodha” was established in 2020 and is not, in any manner, associated with “Lodha” or “Lodha Group”. Lodha Group’s business is run by Macrotech Developers, led by Abhinandan Lodha’s elder brother, Abhishek Lodha.
Business Standard reported in January 2025 that Macrotech had gone to court over the use of the Lodha name, after a family separation agreed in 2015 and formalised in 2017. In April 2025 it reported that the brothers had settled their disputes. For a buyer, the practical point is simple: the promoter named on your agreement and RERA record is the company you are contracting with.

Where are HoABL’s projects?
According to Wikipedia, HoABL operates across Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra — including Alibaug, Anjarle, Dapoli, Khopoli, Nagpur and Neral — Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, including Ayodhya, Vrindavan and Varanasi. The developer’s website lists more than twenty project names, some of which are phases of one development.
In Ayodhya, HoABL markets The Sarayu, a villa-land development it describes as created in collaboration with The Leela, and uses phase names such as The Sarayu Gold and The Sarayu Reserve. Ask which phase your plot belongs to, and match that phase’s UP-RERA registration.

Celebrity campaigns and buyers
Ranbir Kapoor appears in HoABL’s campaign for The Sarayu and was reported in May 2026 to have bought a plot there. Wikipedia records Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon as buyers in the company’s projects, and Business Today reported Amitabh Bachchan’s Sarayu purchase in July 2026.
These purchases show that the projects attract attention. They are not a warranty for any other buyer’s plot, price or return, and they are not endorsements of Elite Search.

How to read HoABL reviews and check a plot
Online reviews of any large developer mix buyers, site visitors, employees and sales agents, and they often describe different projects. Read reviews for the specific project and phase, note their dates, and separate complaints about sales experience from issues with title, delivery or refunds.
Then verify for yourself. These checks matter more than any review score.
- The exact project, phase and plot number on your quotation.
- The promoter’s legal name and the RERA registration for that phase, checked on the state RERA portal.
- The approved layout with your plot marked, and the plot’s area definition.
- An itemised cost sheet, payment schedule and cancellation terms.
- The official project collection account for payments, verified independently.
- Written terms for anything you rely on: clubhouse access, construction rules, rental use.

HoABL’s website lists a corporate office at Lodha Excelus, Apollo Mills Compound, Mahalakshmi, Mumbai; a regional office at DLF Cybercity, Gurugram; and a registered office at Sakinaka, Mumbai.
